Book I: Youth In Revolt
Nick Twisp, a 14 year old boy from Oakland, goes on a trip with his mom and her jerk boyfriend, Lance, to a trailor park, where Nick meets a beautiful girl named Sheeni Saunders. When he arrives home, all he can think about is Sheeni. He calls her and writes her, until one day, when he creates a huge disaster and is sent up to live with his father in the same town as Sheeni.
